About AllYearbooks
AllYearbooks.co.uk was created in May 2004 by Jake Gordon, an experienced web developer, following two years of research and development... and it keeps getting better and better!

Whilst a student living in Derby Hall at the University of Nottingham in 2002, it was Jake's task to help with the collection of entries for the yearbook. Realising that the task would take many hours using traditional methods, Jake developed a quick and simple web page which enabled students to enter their details online. It worked - not only did it reduce the number of hours considerably to collate the details, but it also encouraged a vastly higher percentage of students to write an entry than for previous years.
A restrictive copyright prevented Jake from posting the yearbook online, so the following year Jake decided to produce the yearbook entirely himself. This time the students were able to browse the yearbook online as well, creating a buzz around the hall as people wrote their biographies. Again, an even higher percentage of students wrote an entry and had a photo in the yearbook. Also, the hard-copy yearbook cost less than half the price of the previous year's.
In 2004 Jake again took on the Derby Hall yearbook, this time with a more advanced web system which allowed photo uploads. The response was overwhelmingly favourable, and AllYearbooks.co.uk was born.
AllYearbooks.co.uk invests heavily in technology. Work is constantly being done to produce a better and more efficient system, which reduces the number of hours taken to produce each yearbook to a higher quality standard. We pride ourselves on utilizing the best yearbook production system available.
